Akron General welcomes new physicians
New specialists provide expert care in spine and heart health

Akron General Partners Physician Group (PPG) recently welcomed Anubhav Garg, MD; Ryan Gasser, MD; and Vinay Pai, MD.

Garg, resident of Hinckley, is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine and offers expert care for the diagnosis, management and prevention of heart diseases, including abnormal heart rhythms, congestive heart failure, coronary heart disease and related chest pain, high blood pressure and cholesterol, heart valve disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and other heart muscle disorders. He graduated from Washington University School of Medicine and completed his residency requirements at University of Michigan Health System. His fellowship was completed at University of Michigan Health System. Garg sees patients at Akron General Cardiology, 224 W. Exchange St., Suite 225, Akron. New patients and referrals are welcome. Gasser, resident of Barberton, offers expert care for disorders related to all regions of the spine, from the upper neck to lower sacrum, including back or neck pain, degenerative disc disease, slipped or bulging discs, spinal stenosis, pinched nerve or other spinal deformities. He graduated from Ohio State University and completed his residency requirements at Akron General Medical Center. His fellowship was completed at Panorama Orthopedics and Spine Center. Pai, resident of Copley, is board-certified in Echocardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Internal Medicine and offers expert care for the diagnosis, management and prevention of heart diseases, including diagnosis, management and prevention of heart disease including chest pain (including coronary artery disease), high blood pressure and cholesterol, congestive heart failure, abnormal heart rhythms, and cardiac risk assessments. He graduated from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College (Mumbai University) and completed his residency requirements at Long Island College Hospital and Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (Nagpur University). His fellowship was completed at Beth Israel Medical Center and SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Pai sees patients at Akron General Cardiology, 224 W. Exchange St., Suite 225, Akron.
