Justin P. Lavin, Jr., MD, Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Akron General Health System, has been reappointed to the Maternity and Newborn Advisory Council for the State of Ohio for a five-year appointment. This is his second appointment to the Council of which he has served as chairman in 2011 and 2012. Lavin is a resident of Akron.
