Akron General Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service (VNS) is offering a free class on “Good Self Care While Grieving” February 12 from 2–3:30 p.m. at the Hospice of VNS Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Copley. Discuss the physical impact grief has on the body, mind and spirit, the importance of good self-care, and receive tips on supporting yourself while grieving.
“Kids’ Loving Memories Grief Support” will be held on February 14 from 5–7 pm at the Hospice of VNS Care Center. Children ages 6-11 will experience three groups focusing on expressing their grief through music, special memory craft, and story.
Both classes are open to the community at no charge. Enrollment is limited, so please call to reserve a place.
