Downtown Akron: Our downtown ER is a Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center. ER wait times can change quickly depending on the urgency of patients that arrive by ambulance and helicopter. If you have flu symptoms, call your physician or visit one of our other ERs (Green, Lodi, Montrose & Stow) or one of our Urgent Cares
(Green, Montrose & Tallmadge).
